Cab and Camille were both owned by Camille E. Hodge and operated out of New York.
The label ran from the mid 1960s to the late 1970s, featuring calypso greats such as Lord Nelson and the Mighty Duke amongst others.
The biggest hit on the label was King Wellington's "Steel and Brass" (1973).
Initial releases were on the Cab label, which was used until about 1970. Subsequent releases were on Camille.
A lot of the singles on Camille were taken from their albums.
